Dynahi amplifier

An all solid-state dynamic headamp design by Dr Kevin Gilmore.

There are 2 options for the Dynahi. Onboard or offboard heatsinks.

  1. Am I correct in assuming that in the BOM, column E is the values of the required resistors, and column F is the number required?

Also, what sort of power handling and tolerances does the Dynahi require?

Lastly, is there a maximum resistor size? (e.g., don't go above 1/4W or use Vishay RN series, otherwise the resistors won't fit?)

Many thanks in advance for your help.

  2. Yes, that's correct. I forgot that the quantity is for 2 amps, so just use half of it for a single build.

1/8w and 1% resistors is fine. The board could take up to 1/2w resistors.

A dual S22 configured for 30v is recommended. Dual 30v+30v/80va transformers would be perfect too.

  4. I have a few questions if you permit :
1- What components to change for a balanced gain of around 10 (onboard version) ?
2- Is it better to use 500mW resistor (if they fit) ?
3- For S22 PSUs, can you recommand a DEL ? I absolutely don't know how to chose one !

    Thanks
